The MikroDigger™ is the best selling machine control system since its launch in 1996. The constant development of sensors and software has made it the most accurate (1cm (0.5") or 0.2% of the reach) and reliable system on the market, improving daily output, and securing excellent productivity for the users.
Benefits:
- Optimises your work accurately and efficiently
- Improves the operating accuracy of your construction equipment meaning less re-work therefore reducing the wear and tear on your machine and reducing fuel costs for your machine
- Reduces the unnecessary work represented by stakes, string lines and checkers
- Increases productivity and reduces the time spent on each job
- One man and his machine can carry out the majority of earth moving jobs without an assistant, day or night
The MikroDiggerª system can be used for the following applications:
- Fixed Depth
- Slope
- Trenching
- Blind Cuts
- Layering
- Grading
The MikroDiggerª system has the following features:
- Laser Mode
- Alarm Height
- Combined LCD and LED Display
- 2, 3, 4 or 5 Sensors
- 20 Bucket Settings
- Audible Alarm
- Slopes displayed as %, deg, gon or 1:xxx
Depth Monitor System - Single Grade
The XC1 depth monitor system is based on the gravitational reference system, which has been used for over a decade with great success. Three inclination sensors, used for measuring the angle of boom, stick and bucket, feed information to the Main Display Unit that makes the calculations. The operator just establishes a known reference and then chooses 'Fixed Depth' or 'Slope' mode and starts digging.
Benefits:
- Easy to use, one button control
- Bucket position indicator
- Quick reacting display - settles in <1sec
- LCD window showing actual depth, alarm depth, slope and bucket selected
- LED window showing depth to on grade position
The XC2 depth monitor system works as the XC1 system but has an upgraded Main Display Unit.
Benefits:
- Large Graphic Display
- Multiple and Improved Bucket Displays
- Easy Navigation Menus
- Shortcut Keys
- Quick Keys
Information available on the display:
- The exact setting for X and Y slope. You can enter the desired slope as %, ä, or as a relative number
- The direction of the X and Y slope in relation to the machine
- The height offset below the reference level as entered by the driver. Values can be metric or imperial
- The heading of the machine relative to the direction of the slope
- The bucket position relative to the reference level
- The cross-slope bucket correction needed to match the Y-slope
- The active bucket chosen from a list of up to 20 different buckets
Depth Monitor System - Dual Grade
By simply adding the RS10 sensor to your system enables it to operate in Dual Grade mode. The RS10 is a pitch, roll and direction sensor used to determine the attitude of the excavator. While working, the accurate roll and pitch measurement from the RS10 easily compensate for the rolling and pitching movement of the machine to give the required accuracy and its directional sensor also allows you to work all the way around the excavator (360¡).
Cross-Slope Sensor
Mounting a cross-slope sensor on the bucket will add a further dimension to your machine control. It will give you the freedom of movement in any direction on a sloping surface as the control box will calculate and display the correct bucket tilt angle.
3D Machine Guidance System
The 3D Machine Guidance System provides absolute control of the machines position and attitude in all three dimensions ensuring a more accurate and faster working procedure. The XC3D Graphic Control Box is a combined computer and control unit capable of running 3D guidance software. The XC3D modular design featuring a cradle and junction box will enable the user to move the system between different machines equipped with any Mikrofyn machine control system.
Benefits:
- Fewer mistakes and a reduction in the subsequent cost of corrective actions
- Downtime is reduced considerably
- Survey costs will drop dramatically
- Productivity and best of all 'your profits' will be significantly improved
- Work freely without having to zero-set the values for depth and speed
- Depth and slope automatically updated depending on the position of the excavator
All Mikrofyn machine control systems have the capacity to be upgraded to a 3D guidance system which comprises a rugged computer, 3D modelling software and 3D positioning of the machine by either RTK GPS or a robotic total station.
